Ooey Gooey

Salted Caramel Bars

One recipe of pie crust, baked in rectangular tart pan and cooled
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup light or golden corn syrup
2 tsp salt
6 tbsp white sugar
6 tbsp cream
a dash of vanilla

-In a pot combine all the ingredients. Cook over medium heat until boiling. Let the mix boil for two minutes or so until it reaches 230 degrees. It will be thick and bubbly.
-Pour over crust
-Refrigerate 2-4 hours
-Cut into squares and sprinkle a little sea salt on the tops
